Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ. Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior. Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything.- Ephesians 5:21-24
Dear Jesus,
Help us to live every moment being aware that you are in the room with us. There are no conversations behind closed doors. You see and feel everything we think, say and do. As we practice remembering that you are always near, make us gentle, responsive, kind and submissive to one another. Help husbands earn the respect they are due and cause wives to give more respect and submission than they ever thought they could. Show the world what you are like through the marriages you inhabit.
