Then I saw in the right hand of him who sat on the throne a scroll with writing on both sides and sealed with seven seals. And I saw a mighty angel proclaiming in a loud voice, “Who is worthy to break the seals and open the scroll?” But no one in heaven or on earth or under the earth could open the scroll or even look inside it. Dear Jesus,
I wonder how many people realize that what you showed John in this vision is that only you have the right to see and tell the future. No palm reader, pendant, witch or warlock has that power or insight. No angel or demon, not false god or political self absorbed personality. Only you, the lion of the tribe of Judah, who was born of a real woman and yet is God himself, knows the future along with the Father and Holy Spirit and chooses to tell it. So, since you hold back so much detail so I will focus on the gospel themes about the future, I accept your comfort that you are with me and that you will unroll the scroll of my life before my eyes as you see fit. I am your Lord Jesus, drive my life into the future you have for me.

The father who sits on the throne in heaven has given only Jesus the right to run things for him. So, don't try to run things yourself.
