Were you a slave when you were called? Don’t let it trouble you—although if you can gain your freedom, do so. For the one who was a slave when called to faith in the Lord is the Lord’s freed person;similarly, the one who was free when called is Christ’s slave. You were bought at a price; do not become slaves of human beings. Dear Jesus,
Now that you have made me your own brother in your Father's family, my inner view of myself has so changed that I don't feel great pressure to change my outer situation anymore. I'm a member of God's family. God takes care of every detail of my life with loving exact provision. The "good" and the "bad" are all good in his magnificent hand. I'm okay. I will be okay and all things in my life will turn out okay. Now, I can relax and work hard all at the same time. My outer situation is not a problem or a solution. All things have been resolved by the inner change of being converted into a child of God. Thank you for this indescribable gift.
