Jesus entered the temple courts, and, while he was teaching, the chief priests and the elders of the people came to him. “By what authority are you doing these things?” they asked. “And who gave you this authority?” - Matthew 21:23
Dear Jesus,
You healed people right before their eyes and you taught them the eternal word for their salvation and still they questioned you. Oh Jesus,my life is a miracle, my faith is work of your Spirit too. Do not let me question you. Melt any hard place in my heart and make me soft the touch of your gospel. Create in me a clean heart so that I am an encouragement for grace to everyone who experiences me. Your authority comes from heaven and brings to my heart the rule of mercy and truth.
