July-2011  –•– Don's Visit to St. Paul - MN

July 17 - Don preached at Christ Lutheran in North St. Paul and Hugo.
July 23 - Don taught a bible study on The Healing Power Of Forgiveness.
July 24 - Don taught and preached at New Life Lutheran in Shoreview.

In total, 400-500 people in the St. Paul area had the chance to hear Don teach and preach during this visit. Partnerships were built and awareness of the Reason For Hope ministry was increased - to God's glory and to help spread the good news of Jesus.

Dec-2010  –•– A New Twin City Broadcast Time

Starting on January 1st, 2011, the weekly Reason For Hope broadcast time on KKMS 980 AM will be Saturdays at 1 pm (changed from the previous Sunday 7 am time slot).

The new time should reach a broader audience in the Mineapolis - St. Paul metro and make it easier for WELS members to catch the broadcast.

Oct-2010  –•– Don's New Bible Basics Book

Don has written a book for the Bible Discovery Series titled:
Bible Basics - Finding Tools to Read and Interpret Scripture.

It available through the Northwestern Publishing House (NPH).

Sept-2010  –•– A Reason For Hope's CDs

Production of Reason For Hope has been happening in the St. Paul/Minneapolis area for over 1 year and there are plans for expanding production to other locations (Houston and perhaps New Ulm, MN).

The vision is to produce these CD in small regular batches and promote their distribution in audio libraries of churches that partner with us. It's another venue for getting the important messages from God's Word to those who need them.

Mar-2010  –•– A Reason For Hope's 5-year Anniversary

The first Reason For Hope program was broadcast on KIXL in Austin, on March 2005. Since that time, over 800 individual broadcasts have been made on various radio stations in Texas, Minnesota, Nebraska, Kansas, and New Mexico.

We especially wish to thank our friends and supporters. They have been our partners in spreading the good news of God's love and salvation.

Feb-2010  –•– An RFH Interview on WELSTech

In February, Pastor Don Patterson and William Eslinger were invited to discuss the Reason For Hope ministry with the hosts of WELSTech, a forum which discusses issues of Christian ministry and technology.

Feb-2010  –•– A "New & Improved" RFH Web Site

In February 2010, an updated Reason For Hope web site was rolled out. Some of the added features include a topical index page for our audio messages and a built-in media player for playing audio files.
