About Our Ministry...

A Reason For Hope (RFH) is a Christian ministry that was started in March-2005. Our mission is to proclaim an uncompromised message of God's law and His love.

The RFH outreach project started as a local weekly radio program (on KLGO in Austin, TX) and, over time, has grown into different venues: such as our web site, podcast, and facebook page.

Don Patterson, pastor of Holy Word Lutheran church in Austin, Texas is our featured speaker. He delivers a weekly message that we share through radio broadcasts and MP3 downloads. Selected messages are also available on CD.

We currently have radio programs on:
KKMS 980 AM - Sundays 8:00 am (St. Paul, Minnesota)
KFON 1490 AM - Sundays 7:30 pm (Austin, Texas)

RFH Radio Partnerships We encourage any church so inclined to start their own radio broadcast, but it also makes good sense for content producers (like RFH) to partner with local churches to start new radio broadcasts or spread God's Word by other means. A typical partnership works by RFH producing and delivering program content to the radio station. We tailor the closing of the program to advertise the local church. We also provide the local church with audio CD'and other materials, which can be used in their ministry efforts - such as delivering God's Word to the hospitalized, shut-ins, or others who have difficulty in attending services. The local church (or churches) are actively involved in selecting the radio station, negotiating broadcast details and covering a portion of broadcast expenses. They also help promote the ministry and are the point of contact for the local listening audience. For more information, email William Eslnger or call 651-582-5387 (work).
